Classrooms
Assignments
Classrooms are located in the Sterling Law Building and Baker Hall. Classrooms are assigned The classroom assignments for courses are coordinated by the Registrar’s Office. Classroom assignments are available about one week before the start of the semester. When the classroom assignments have been completed your assigned room is available in Canvas. Login to Canvas, open your course site, click on YLS Tools via the left-hand navigation. Your room assignment will appear at the top of the screen. The building location of a classroom is indicated by the prefix SLB for Sterling Law Building and Baker for Baker Hall.
Technology
All classrooms have built in audio-visual support, including: projector/monitor (s), microphones, a classroom computer, and input inputs to support connecting a laptop. The Law School AV team provides support for the classroom technology. Your assistant can request support for you and the AV team is available to provide one-on-one training on using the classroom AV system. To request training or to inquire about AV support please send an email to: av.law@yale.eduClassroom and meeting rooms in both buildings can be reserved via the online Room Reservation system
Chalkboards/Whiteboards
All classrooms in Sterling Law Building have chalkboards. Chalk is provided and replenished by the Building Services team. If your classroom needs chalk, please phone Building Services at 203 432 4980.
Classrooms in Baker Hall have whiteboards. Whiteboard markers are available in each classroom. Contact Building Services at 203 432 4980, if you need additional markers.

Lounges
There are two lounges in the Sterling Law Building where self-service coffee and tea , self-service is available.
The Guido Calabresi Faculty lounge , is located on the second floor of the Sterling Law Building, room 208.
The Tank , is located on the first floor of the “L” entry way entryway in room L14.
