The Law School campus is comprised of two buildings. Sterling Law Building and Baker Hall.

Sterling Law Building is located at 127 Wall Street, New Haven, CT  06510. 

Baker Hall is located at 100 Tower Parkway, New Haven, CT  06510.

Classrooms

Classrooms are located in the Sterling Law Building and Baker Hall.  Classrooms are assigned for courses by the Registrar’s Office. Classroom assignments are available about one week before the start of the semester. When the classroom assignments have been completed your assigned room is available in Canvas. Login to Canvas, open your course site, click on YLS Tools via the left-hand navigation. Your room assignment will appear at the top of the screen. The building location of a classroom is indicated by the prefix SLB for Sterling Law Building and Baker for Baker Hall.

All classrooms have built in audio-visual support, including: projector/monitor, microphones, classroom computer, and input to support connecting a laptop. The Law School AV team provides support for the classroom technology. Your assistant can request support for you and the AV team is available to provide one-on-one training on using the classroom AV system. To request training or to inquire about AV support please send an email to: av.law@yale.edu

Classroom and meeting rooms in both buildings can be reserved via the online Room Reservation system.

Lounges

There are two lounges in the Sterling Law Building where coffee and tea, self-service is available.

The Guido Calabresi Faculty lounge, located on the second floor of the Sterling Law Building, room 208.

The Tank, located on the first floor of the “L” entry way in room L14.

Mailroom

The faculty mailroom is located in the student commons area on the second floor of the Sterling Law Building.  Incoming campus and first-class mail, books, UPS, FedEx, and other courier shipments are handled here.  Faculty members have individual mailboxes, and departments have bins. Outgoing mail (including large mailings), campus mail, intra-office mail, and outgoing FedEx are also handled through the faculty mailroom.  Mailroom questions should be directed to the Building Services manager.
