Law School Office and Keys

Your Yale ID card provides access to all of the building entrances. The ID Card center is next to the Yale Health building at 55 Lock Street.

Office Assignments

You are assigned an office to use on the day(s) that you teach. Your office assignment is sent in your Welcome Letter.

If you are co-teaching a course, please note that you are not automatically assigned an office. However, we’re happy to accommodate you if space is available.

Meeting Rooms

You or your Faculty Assistant can request classroom or meeting space in the Sterling Law Building (SLB) or Baker Hall using YLS’ Room Reservation system (25Live).

If you’d like to hold office hours or work from SLB on a non-teaching day, you’re welcome to reserve a huddle room through the room reservation system. Suggested spaces include: K190C, K290C, K390C, and L190B. Your Faculty Assistant can help with booking.

Many rooms have integrated AV capabilities. You or your Faculty Assistant can request AV support via 25Live if you need help for a class or meeting. You can contact YLS AV at av.law@yale.edu or (203) 432‑2277 for further assistance.

Office Keys

If you are issued a key for your office, you’ll receive it from Building Services or your Faculty Assistant. At the end of your appointment, please return your keys to either.

There is a $25 cash fee for any lost key
