Course Evaluations
At the end of each semester, law students complete online course evaluations for all classes with five or more students. You may consider giving students the opportunity to complete the evaluation form during your last class.Â
The student link for course evaluations is here: https://students.yale.edu/oce-submissions
Evaluations will be available for instructor’s view here: https://oce.app.yale.edu/oce-viewer

Custom Question Function
The online course evaluation system allows an instructor to add one custom question to the evaluation form for any course he or she is teaching. Adding a custom question is simple and is done through an online form. If a custom question has been created for a course, it will appear as the last question on the student evaluation form. Responses to the custom question will not be visible to students when evaluations are published, but they will be available to you in the faculty viewer (https://oce.app.yale.edu/oce-viewer).
To add a custom question, click here. You will be prompted to log in using your Yale NetID and password. Instructions and information on the new functionality are available on the site.
Please note: Although any of the instructors teaching a course may submit a question, only one custom question per course may be submitted, and you are therefore encouraged to coordinate efforts among instructors. The name of the person who submitted the question and the date and time it was submitted are displayed at the bottom of the custom question entry screen. Questions can be edited multiple times, up to the closing date and time.
If you have any technical issues when adding your custom question, please contact Associate Registrar Jennifer Kirby.
